AK NOVA Sp. z o.o. carried out the task entitled "Construction and equipment of a sorting plant for mixed municipal waste, together with a composting plant and an installation for the production of solid alternative fuel and accompanying infrastructure" For ZGOK in Balin.

The scope of tasks included the execution of preparatory works, preparation of detailed designs and construction and equipment and commissioning of a sorting plant for mixed municipal waste, construction of a composting, biosolids and aerobic stabilization plant, a plant for the production of solid alternative fuel, along with associated infrastructure, including:

1. construction of a sorting hall for mixed municipal waste and other waste, together with an installation for the production of alternative fuel and an adjacent social building with a total area of 3,^478m2;

2. construction of a buffer warehouse for the organic fraction of municipal waste (0-80mm) separated from municipal waste directed to the sorting line, adjacent to the sorting plant with an area of ^320m2;

3. construction of a tunnel composting plant for biostabilization of organic fraction separated from municipal waste, consisting of tunnels with reinforced concrete walls and aeration system with an area of 3,^891m2;

4. construction of a biostabilizer maturation yard with an area of 3,^234m2;

5. construction of a biofilter with an integrated scrubber with an area of ^546m2;

6. supply of technology containers in the amount of 2pcs with a total area of ^60m2;

7. construction of an access road, roads and process and storage yards with an area of16,^767m2;

8. construction of a transformer station with connection;

9. construction of a tank with a capacity of 30m3 to store water drawn from the water supply system for the composting and stabilization process;

10. construction of a tank without underground drainage to collect leachate water from the composting plant with a capacity of ^128m3;

11. construction of a fire overflow tank for treated rainwater from roads and internal yards with a capacity of ^264m3;

12. construction of an absorptive non-drainage tank for collecting clean rainwater from the roofs of the sorting hall, social building and composting plant with a capacity of ^153m3;

13. construction of a non-drainage tank for domestic sewage;

14. construction of rainwater and process drains;

15. construction of absorption band ditches for the intake of clean water from the drainage of areas adjacent to the executed investment;

16. construction of a water supply connection and relocation of part of the existing system;

17. construction of a retaining wall along the maturation yard;

18. construction of fencing and lighting of the area.
