Technical and technological adaptation of the operating Waste Recovery and Disposal Plant to the current legal requirements for mechanical-biological treatment of waste and to the obligations to reduce waste storage
Installation capacity:
50000
Description of implementation
The purpose of the investment is to technically and technologically adapt the operating Waste Recovery and Neutralization Plant located in Katowice to the current legal requirements for mechanical-biological processing of waste and to the obligations to reduce waste storage.
The main scope of the subject of the Project includes:
construction of an installation for biological processing of organic waste, adapted for annual processing of 50,000 Mg of biodegradable waste separated in the process of mechanical processing of mixed municipal waste and 10,000 Mg of selectively collected green waste and other bio-waste with the possibility of biosolidification of waste. The installation in question will consist primarily of the construction of an organic waste composting plant in the form of closed 24 bioreactors for intensive process composting, with 16 bioreactors adapted for the whitewater fraction 0÷80 mm and the remaining 8 bioreactors adapted for green waste and alternative fuel drying. In addition, the plant will include ventilation systems, sprinkler systems, a biofilter with a scrubber, process containers, leachate and percolate tanks
construction of stabilizer and compost maturation yards
Construction of a new RDF alternative fuel storage facility with transfer and intake conveyors
Construction of a composting facility for green waste consisting of a shed over the maturation yard
construction of retention tanks, sewerage and water supply networks, electrical and teletechnical networks and installations
construction of roads, sidewalks, maneuvering areas
