The purpose of the investment is to expand the Recovery and Disposal Plant in Katowice - to expand the mechanical part of the plant for preparing waste for biological processing and for producing alternative fuel.

The scope of work included:

• preparation of project documentation
• detailed designs
• reconstruction and renovation of the existing composting hall and waste reception hall, together with dismantling of the existing installations and technological equipment inside the hall and their parts protruding outside the hall
• Delivery, installation and commissioning at the above-mentioned facilities of a new installation / process line for mechanical preparation of waste for biological processing and for the production of alternative fuel with a capacity for a stream of mixed municipal waste with a bulk density of min. 350 kg/m3 min. 50,000 t/year with single-shift operation
• Construction of supporting infrastructure.
